Creating a group

[A Stitch Club]

To create a group, click on the "Groups" tab located on the top menu. Once on the groups page, you will see a link in the top righ corner "create a group". Click the link to create your group.

Choosing privacy-
If you want everyone to be able to view your group discussions and blogs, set your group to "public". People will still need to join your group in order to place comments.

Choosing private groups-
There are two options- One is to make private, but allow people to request an invitation. If you want your discussions to remain visible to only group members but want to allow new people to join, this is the setting you should choose.

Creating a group for only invited members- this setting will allow you to invite other A Stitch Club members to join. This will be the only way new members can join your group.

You are now the administrator of the group you created. You can send blogs, discussions, and more all within your group.

Please keep in mind that only family oriented groups can be created. A Stitch Club is a family site, and we want to keep things clean.
