To enter the contest, does the item have to be a stitched project?

The item can be any handmade craft item related to halloween, made by you or one of your children, of course. We know that people love to do all sorts of crafts, usually. I know, personally, I have a few that I enjoy.

If your kids created it, you can add that too. I know with our children, they are always coming up with a new decoration (some I should say that you know people wonder why you have them hanging on display lol)

I love the crafts our kids do regardles...others just may not feel the same. lol

Each contest will state if it's for stitched items only. We'll offer a variety of contests so that everyone has a welcoming chance to participate.

can it be a design i digitized and a friend made a purse with for holloween

Sure Mary. We're not going to be sticklers on rules here. We basically don't want anyone going and stealing someone's photo and claiming it as their own. We want everyone to take part in the creative crafting.
We just aim to keep it fair and honest. As long as your friend is in agreement, sure.

Hi Mary,

Great pics! I did add the correct tags. Next time, I will be sure to make it a smaller phrase. I didn't want other photos with the same tags appearing. I added the tags "halloween_project". Now, when you go to the Contests Group, click on Vote and your images will be there.

Miss Charlie,

Our community site has been open only a little over a week. We're still brand new here.

All the contests that will have will be posted in our Contests group. You can see all groups by clicking the tab Groups on the top menu. Use the link below to go directly to the Contests group main page to view all the info.

Any new contests will be added in the group along with information about the contest.

Since the site is new, this is our first contest, but we hope to keep many more coming to always have an active contest for the members here.

Although the site is called "A Stitch Club", which is from our store site, the community is basically for crafters. I think we all have a variety of hobbies we do. Any new groups that members create or new contests can be anything hobby or craft related.

Always check the contests group to see the rules for entering the contest.
