Tell us a little about yourself
Ive been unemployed for about a year.. I live with my mother and son.. I am 44 yrs old.. my son is disabled so its hard for me to get a job. I'd like to open a Quilt shop where I can make Memory Quilts for people who have lost a loved one or want to preserve a memory from their clothing.. thats what I mainly like to do is make quilts out of clothing .. does anyone else ? ? ? ?

You can download the embroidery designs and save them, but as far as I know, you'll need embroidery software on your computer and then be able to connect it to your embroidery machine. I don't know what the singer touch and sew machine is? I've been off work since May 08, do to medical problems and am in the process of doing medical retirement, which is going to be very difficult financially, but pray Our Lord won't give us more than We can handle. I have to grown children - daughter with type 1diabetes and son married with 15 year old daughter. Yes, I enjoy making memory quilts also. I made a wall quilt for brother when he turned 50 - it looked like a wall unit and each shelf had different years of his life along with items he enjoyed doing, like gardening, collecting minature John Deere tractors, and remembering how beautiful the lilacs bloomed back in Minnesota the end of May for our birthdays. I also included doilies on a few of the shelves that our Granma had crochets, used buttons from our Mothers collection for the drawer knobs. I've also made a rag quilt for my sons 30th birthday, using racing fabric that I'd been collecting for years, along with demin jeans from his daughter, wife, sister, his and my Purple jeans, as that's my color. I also included embroidery - in center - MADE IN JAPAN, as he was conceived in Tokyo, when his father was in the military. His name, birthday, his wedding, daughters birthday and also checkered flags, race car and a mustang. I've also made stuffed animals from friends that have passed for friends in memory. Better go and have a blessed day.
