Hi, i'm jude, seems no one has posted on this site in a long time. i'm just wondering if it is up and running. there are lots of very nice designs here, i'm thinking of joining the club but trying to make sure it is up and going first.
I enjoy embroidering and making up my own designs. also love to ride my horse and spend time with my grand kids. I run a home based childcare, so i always have kids around me to keep my young. lol well busy at least.
anyways i just wanted to say hi , have a great day

I have been sick with the flu. So I am stuck in bed, but am knitting some winter hats for my grandchildren. My granddaughters like soccer too. My oldest granddaughter, Brianna's team is undefeated. She will be signing up for indoor soccer this Feb. I am teaching them how to knit right now. Well take care of yourself.
Hi Taylor!
Got your message in my email & thought I'd reply. Getting a little chilly here in NH. Haven't gotten any embroidery done - life kind of gets in the way. lol
Just spent 8 days on the west coast visiting family & friends. It was great.
Hope all is well with you too. Kathy
My mother was a dressmaker when I was young. I started sewing when I was about 5 or 6. When I was 9 my mother started a sewing club with my girl friends. We made all kinds of clothes for our dolls. My mother could make patterns. So, if I didn't buy a pattern that I liked, I would tell my mother what kind of a design I wanted and she should make up the pattern. What I never thought to learn to do was learn to make my patterns. She has died now and her secret has gone with her. Remember to learn from your mother while you have her around.
Do you have an embroidery machine?

Hello there, I am a grandmother of the 2 girls you see in my pic. I am teaching themto sew when we have the time. They are very busy with Soccer and Swimming and School. So we dont have much time for sewing as of yet. But thanks for inviting me as your friend.

Thank you for the add, miley! Im much older than you, but it appears we have much in common, I love the picture of your little dog. I make bandanas, too, but am just learning to embroider. I sew mine, along with clothes for my little dogs.
Hi Taylor. I am MUCH older than you! I have 4 grandkids but have only been embroidering about 4 years. I have done some Tshirts for my grandkids and have done a couple of FSL bowls, angels & snowflakes. I also have made 1 quilt. I work full time, so I don't get to sew as much as I'd like to.

Hi Taylor: Thank you for inviting me to be your friend. I'm sure your dog really appreciated the bandana. I've been sewing for many years, but only doing machine embroidery for about 5 years on and off. So, I'm still a beginner in many ways. Take care. Julie

Don't feel age is a definition of your stastus in enbroidery or sewing. If you continue, you could be an expert well before voting age! Keep learning to express yourself in these creative ways and you and your dog will be well dreessed

Hello Taylor,
I love your little dog, CUTE!! Doggie Bandana's are a good place to start sewing.
I have been sewing for over 50 years and I am still learning. It's always a good thing to learn and one it never too old to learn something new. A local sewing store, 4-H or a girls club may have more to offer for you to learn more but so does the local library. I often check out books to learn to do something new or just to get new patterns. Then I embroider whatever I have made with designs and it becomes MY special project that way.
Do you sew as well as embroider or just beginning in one or the other? One or both can be lots of fun once you get "addicted" to them.. LOL
Have a great weekend,
((hugs)) and Blessings,
Sherie
Hi Taylor!
I'd love to see pictures of your dog with the bandannas. I started sewing in 4-H club when I was 9 years old (MANY years ago!). Do you have a local club or anything like it - it is loads of fun for kids and a great way to learn too.
I'd love to be your 'stitching friend'!
(I think Miley rocks too!!!)
